Personal data is also the set of distinct pieces of information that can lead to the identification of a specific person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples of personal data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name and surname;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Address of a residence;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Email address;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Number of an ID card;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Location data (for example, the location data function on a cell phone);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IP address (internet protocol);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cookies;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your phone's advertising identifier;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Data held by a hospital or doctor that makes it possible to identify a person unequivocally;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sound or image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who is the data subject?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The holder of personal data is the natural person to whom the data relates and who has used Europauto II's digital platforms and services<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Categories of personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples (not exhaustive):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>TYPES<\/td><td>DATA<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Key identifiers<\/td><td>Name, civil or tax identification number, passport number, date of birth, marital status, address, telephone number, e-mail address, nationality, photographs and files on the mobile device, household details, details of family relationship.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Complementary labels<\/td><td>IBAN, geo-location, level of education, gender, profession, socio-economic data, personal ID, IP address, social network addresses, type of mobile device, operating system, operating system version.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Special protection<\/td><td>Personal data of children under 16.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When and how do we collect your personal data?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We collect personal data when you purchase products or services from Europauto II, request a quote or book a service.<br>Collections can be made orally, in writing or via Europauto II's digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the basis for processing your personal data?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Consent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your consent must be express - in writing, orally or by validating an option - and prior, freely given, informed, specific and unequivocal; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contract execution and pre-contractual steps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the processing of personal data is necessary for the conclusion, execution and management of a contract with Europauto II; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Compliance with a legal obligation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the processing of personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which Europauto II is subject, such as the communication of identification or traffic data to police, judicial, tax or regulatory bodies or location data to ensure emergency services; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Legitimate interest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The processing of personal data by Europauto II may be justified by reasons of legitimate interest related to the execution of tasks related to its activity as a company, such as the processing of data for the improvement of service quality, fraud detection and revenue protection and when our reasons for its use must prevail over your data protection rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How long does Europauto II process and store your personal data?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Europauto II processes and stores your personal data in accordance with the purposes for which it is processed and only for the period of time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and stored, and always in accordance with the law, the guidelines and decisions of the CNPD, or, as applicable, until you exercise your right to object, right to be forgotten or withdraw consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are situations in which the law determines that data must be kept for a minimum period of time, namely: for one year, traffic and location data for the purposes of investigating, detecting and prosecuting serious crimes or for 10 years the data needed to inform the Tax Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the respective retention period has elapsed, Europauto II will delete or anonymize the data whenever it should not be kept for a different purpose that may still exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rights of the data subject<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The holder of personal data has the right to information, access and rectification or erasure of personal data and the right to data portability, the right to limit or object to the processing of their data, within the scope and under the terms of the GDPR and other applicable legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data subject may withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time, within the framework of the GDPR. This period may be extended to two months where necessary, taking into account the complexity of the request and the number of requests received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of your request, you may be asked to provide proof of your identity to ensure that personal data is only shared with the data subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transmission of personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data may be transmitted to entities to whom the data must be communicated by law, such as the Tax Authority, judicial authorities, criminal police bodies, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Liability for Europauto II and third-party digital platforms and services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>Europauto II&nbsp;<\/strong>is not responsible for the content accessed through any link that leads the holder of personal data to navigate outside the digital platforms of<strong>&nbsp;Europauto II<\/strong>&nbsp;and for the processing of personal data carried out therein, whenever such links are the responsibility of third parties. This so-called Secure Socket Layer technology is used to improve the security of data transmission over the Internet, encrypting and protecting sensitive data and information using the HTTPS protocol.
